General Election Chances.
Referring to the prospects of the National Partv at the general election, Mr. E. B. Gordon, M.P., said at the annual meeting of the party in the Rangitikei electorate: "We consider our chances of winning to be goo'd. We have reached the hurdle and we can take it." He hoped that the National Party would hecome the Government with a good working majority.
