Ayrshire Breeders Review Successful Year

The eighth annual meeting of We'Iington West Coast Ayrshire Cattle Breeders' Club was held in Palmerston North recently. There was a good attendance of members and a very satisfactory year was reported. It was stated that the club had gained new members, interest had been maintained and demonstrations had been well attended. v The retiring president, Mr. A. C. ' Buchanan, congratulated members on their attendance at meetings throughout the year and thanked them for their loyal support. He said he was especiahy pleased at the interest displayed at the various A. and P. shows and the achievements of the Ayrshire breed in the show rings. The following officers were elected for the coming year: — Presi- , dent: Mr. R. Hill; vice-presidents: Messrs A. M. Seott and C. E. C. Webb; secretary: Mrs. A. M. Scott; treasurer: Mr. E. Baker; committpe: Messrs A. C. Buchanan, A. M. Atkins, M. Moffat, J. Bhrnell, C. Arcus, A. C. Birch, D. Corrigan and A. Merwood.
