Reconstitution Of Borough Committees
The two newiy-elected members of the Levin Borough Council, Crs. R. S. Antcliff and A. W. Parton, were swom in at last fiight's' meeting of the council. The Mayor, Mr. H. B. Burdekin, in extending a welcome to 'the new members. said he hoped their stay wou'd be • pleasurable to themselves and of. value to the electors. The changes in the personnel of ( the council have caused a reconstitution of the various committees. The forowins committees were last night approved by the council:-— Finance committee: The Mayor, Mr. Burdekin (chairmajij , Crs. RA. Frederikson, C. .Sherwood and R. S. Antcliff. Works and town planning committee:' Crs. W. Telford (chairman) , Sherwood, Frederikson, J. Mil er and A. W. Parton. Gasworks cqmmittee: Crs. D. J. Sweetzer (chairman), Telford, C. H. Nelson and A. W. Parton. Library committee: Crs. Frederikson (chairman), Sherwood, A. J. H. Allen and Ne'son. Abattoir committee; Crs. Sherwood (chairman) , Miller, Allen and Antcliff. ' Playford Park committee: Crs. Telford (chairman) , Sweetzer, Antcliff and Parton.
