Crossbred Wool Values Firm At Napier

NAPIER, May 2. Values for prossbred wool, which comprised the bulk of the Hawk&'s Bay clip, were fully firm on last week's Auckland quotations at the final sale of the season at Napier today. In some quarters it was eoAsidered that there was a slight improvement on Auckland. Halfbred wools were in poor demand and the market was much sasier, but the quality all round vas lower than eariier in the season. Continental buyers appeared to be operating on higher limits than Bradford or American interests. There was an entry of 18,343 bales of new season's wool and 10,800 bales of .stockoile wool, and all are ieing sold today.
