The appointment today by the Governor-General of three members of the Licensing Control Commission pro vided for in the Licensing Amendmeni Act passed last session of Parliament, was announced tomght by the Minister of Justice, Mr. Mason. ! The members are Mr. A. M. Goulding, S.M., Wellington (chairman), Colonel B. Barrington, Wellington, and Mr. L. C. Nisbet, accountant, Wellington. The Commission, which is a fulltime one, will assume its duties on Ju'ne 1. The chairman 's appointmfcnt is for a term of five years. The terms of the two other members are for three and fonr years respectively. The member to retire at the end of three years shalj be determined by agreement or, failing agreexnent, by lot.
