Carbon Copy Tops Record Of Trivalve

SYDNEY, April 24. Carbon Copy became tbe greatest stake ■winning three-yea'r-old. in Australian turf history when he ran away with the A.J.C. .Plate at Randwick, beating Russia by ten lengths. The brst prize of £1474 took Carbon Copy's earnings to £28,696, compared with Trivalve 's £28,373 put up by tbe end of. the 1927 season.

At the A.J.C. autumn meeting, which ; ended on Saturday, Carbon Copy won the St. Leger, Sydney Cup and A.J.C. Plate for a total of £12,920.
