With the screening of "XlVth Olympiad — The Glory of Sport," at the Civic Theatre on We'dnesday and Thursday, the film public will have the advantage over the actual spectators in seeing the greatest and most dramatic cavaleade of sport the world has ever known brought to them in intimate closeups and from the best possible a.ngles. And what a record-break-ing feast of sport they will see ! The 1948 Olympic Games will go down in history as having a record number of entries — more than 6,000 competitors — from a record number of countries and as having eclipsed the figures for attendance put up at the Berlin Games of 1936.
