Mercer, of Stout Street, will regret to learn that she is very ill at' the Palmerston North Hospital. Potato Harvests Continue. Excellent crops of potatoes are at present being harvested in the Opiki district. Most growers report good crops this season and last year's mistake of leaving them inthe ground too long is being avoided this season. The Makerua rail-. way yards are at present a scene of activity as the potatoes are being trucke'd away to the city markets.
