April Meeting Of Levin Mother's League
The April meeting of the Levin League of Mothers was presided over by Mrs. Mudgway. The thought for the month, given by Mrs. Smith, was "Do as little harm as you can and as much good as you can, and make everyone round you as happy as you can." Several pleasing solos were rendered by Mrs. Hesp and she was presented with a fioral appreciation. Mrs. H. Bowater gave a most mtereating talk on her experiences as a hursing sister during the war, telling of the many places visited and the different conditions under which work was carried on. Mr§. Bowater displayed several albuiris of pictures and photos gathered in the course of her journeys. Mrs. Bartholomew expressed the thanks of members to Mrs, Bowater and presented her with a floral spray.
