Intruders Spend Night in Church
NEW PLYMOUTH, April 21. When the Presbyterian Church at Taumarunui was visited by its minister, the Rev. I. Muir, this morning, curtaip and old clothing were found strewi about the floor of the vestry and it was subsequently discovered that a do nation box in the vestibule had been brokpn open and rifled of the sum of money contained. Also migsipg were aboui 12 tins of food which were left over from the Easter Presbyterian camp at Taumarunui and which had biaen placed in tlje yestry temporarjly, The indieations were that the intruders had stayed in the church overnight.
