Lloyds Recognises Courage Of Air Hostess

MELBOURNE, April 29. Miss Elizabeth Fry, the 24-year-old air hostess of the airliner Kurana whicn crashed on Mt. Macedon, near ALelbourne, on November 6, will [>e presented with an inscribed silver salver by Lloyds of London in recognition of her cpurage. She displayed great eoolness, directing the escape of the 19 passengers before the plane caught lire. She helped extricate the pilot and eo.pilot, both of whom died, and thougb herself injured, she tended the injureu passengers. Miss Fry is stated to be the first an hostess in the world so honoured by Lloyds.
