WELLINGTON, April 19. Further discu.ssions 011 the appointuieiit of a repiesentative of the Pubiic iService Association to the Govermuent i .Service Tribunal, are to be heid be- i ivveen the Actiug Pfime Minister, Mr. j Nash, and represeutatives of the asso- j nation. The secretary of the Pubiic Service j Association, Mr. J. Turnbull, in a state- II ment, said that at a meeting of the ; executive counnittee of the association tonight, it was roported that the Primc ivlinisier had been unable to see execu tive officers beiore he left the eountry. He hacl, however, asked representatn es ; of the association to discuss with Mr Nash the various matters raised. Air. Turnbull said that the conin.iittee authorised the executive ollicers to en 1 deavour to obtain from .. the Govern i ment, through Mr. Nash, certain assiu ances which would rendcr entry into the Government Service Tribunal acceptable to the association. The execu tive resolved that it w.ould nieet again within the uoxt few days to receive a report, ,a,n,d .dcternune further action.
