Cuba today urged Uuited Nations to send a 15-mau commission to investigate the trials of the Hungarian Car dinal Mindszenty, and of the Bulgariar Protestant clergymen. Cuba's proposal was submitted in a surprise resolution at the end of the politieai committee 's session and the commission adjournect until tomorrow to give delegates^ time to think it over. The Cnban. proposal urges, firstly, that a commission should conduct^ an investigation without prejudice to^the rights of the big three Powers to aot against th© Balkan Governments for alleged violations of human rights I un der the peace treatiesj secondly, that I United Nations should bar Hunga,fy and Bnlgaria from membership 4 or United Nations pepding tlie* commis sioif's report; thirdly, that the commission should report at the next session of the General Asaembly in September.
