London Stevedores To Return To Work
Received Friday,. 8.50 p.m. LONDON, April 14. The London stevedores have voted to return to work on Saturday, thus ending a ftve-day stoppage., They de.cided to give three weeks' notice of their intention to strike which the la .v requires. The decision will enable work to begin again on more than 80 ships' in the Thames and London docks There were still 11,550 men on strike on the docks when the decision was made.
