Hungry Cat Better Than Well Fed Dog In Chains

Received Wednesday, 7.10 p.m. OTTAWA, April 12. Mr. W. A. Zbik, the 35-year-olcl second secretary of the Polish Legation, announeed today that he resigned because he would rather be " a hungry cat than a well fed dog m chains. ' ' Mr. Zbik, who has been in Canada since 1946, said he hoped to reinain with his wife and young daughter. He said he had finally made up his mind to leave when informed recently that he had been assigned back to Polaoid. He knew that meant ' ' either join the Conununist Party or else."
