Personal. Mrs. W. A. Calwell, «of Waerenga Road, is visiting Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. V. Noble, of. Matene Street, have left for a holiday visit to Taita. The death o'ccurred at Masterton recently of Mrs. E. M. Foreman, of Tinui, Masterton, sister of Mrs. C. Williams, Lemon Street, ptaki. Mr. Hubert Meads, a resident of Rangiuru of many years' standing, who has not enjoyed good health for some time past, was admit' ed fco the Palmerston North Hospital at the weekend. Footballers' Outing. Members of the otaki football team journeyed to Feilding on Saturday, when they met and defealed Feilding seniors by eight points to six. For Otaki M. Winterburn, scored a try, which Huff fconverted, and W. Johmson scoreu- an unconverted try. Kereama kicked a penalty and also scored a try for the home team. The g^me was clean and fast, and those who made the trip are loud in their praise of the hospitality accorded them. They were royally entertained at luncheon on arrival, after the game at dinner aind a soeial and dance in the evening. Easter Hours At Post Office. The Otaki Post Office. will be elosed in all its branches on Good Friday and Easter Monday, except the telephone exchange, which will be open continuously. On Thursday thei office will -be- open between 7 and 8 p.m., while telegrams may be handed in at the telephone exchange on Easter Monday. No deliveries by postmen will be made on Saturday and telegrams for despatch will be taken at the Tasman Street entrance. Final mails on this day close at 9.30 a.m. for the north and 11 a.m. for the south. On Anzac Day the office will be closed except for the telephone exchange.
