The Ihakara Institute's meeting was" presi'ded oyer by Mrs/ Turner. The atten'dance was excelleht and apolpgieS we^e receiyed from Mesdames' Humphrpy, Broo'ks, Malcplrri, Gardiner, Ken't, ' Hibbell, Mitchell and Armstrong. The South Wellington Federation/ president, Mrs. h; S. Powell, spoke on matters concerning' the forthcoming exhlbitipn pf' arts and crafts for federation institutes"," which will be held in the Regent Hall, Levin, frpm May 24 to Mgy 27, Delegates appointed to attend the annual ppuncil meeting at Paremata on Thursday, April 28, were Mesdames Turnef and Mac- . Learp The proposed change of meeting day was put to vote, but it wa§ deci|ed that Saturday was ^ tLe most suitabie day. Competitions were won as follows':— jBest bloom: Miss For sy the 1, Mrs. R. D.
