Koputaroa Badminton Club's Annual Meeting
The annual general meeting of the Koputaroa Badminton ' Club was held last Wednesday, Mr. T. Laing presiding over a fair attendiance. The annual report and balance sheet disclosed the club to be in a satisfactory nositioh. The question of membership of the Horowhenua sub-association was discussed, but it was 'decided that the ctub would not join it this season. The honour of life membership was conferred upon Mr. p. F. Gibson in recognition of his valuable service to the club since its inception. The election of officers resulted as follows:— Patron: Mr. D. Kefnohan; president: Mr. E. F. Gibson; vice-presidents: Miss D. Rowe and Messrs R. §. Hrpwjt ah4 L> i#ing; secretary an?d treasurer: |fr. J. Lancaster; club captain : Mr. R. Pemberton; vice-captain : Mr. G. Pemberton; committee: Mjss E. jSpiers and Messrs A." Kpb'prstgjn, K. Pemberton ahd P. Perawiti.
