Prior to these two tLQP&ies being presented, Mr. Cribb remarked that they had been awarded to enpuragd the competitors to take pride in their appearanpe on the trac.k. Three special ' trpphies were a^so ' donated by Mrs. Dorne, these being awarded " to Miss N. MPMiRn' A. Rose and N. Tyree, Mr_. Cribb stating " that these three junior runners had cpmpeted ' at open meetings in the senior class,. and they were among the club's keen- . nest travellers.

Mr. Cribb's special trophy for the Training Centre competitor gaining most points 'during the season went to R. Jeifery and a trophy to the"ruriner-up was'won by I. Garden. A special trpphy fqr the most cpnsistent outside competitor was annexed by H. WMson, pf Fqxton. .Assistant -Secretary Honoured. In caTlirig up Miss N. Harper, the' club's popular and efficient assist,-ant-secretary to come fprward, Mr. Cribb said he wished to take the opportunity of paying tribute on behalf of his Gommittee ahd the competitors to Miss Harper's sterljng work -during the season. She had been a tower of strength to the secretary and had organised the numerous trips the competitors had made. In presenting Miss Harper with a dressing taple set, Mr. Burdekin also praised Miss Harper's "work and the interest she had displayed in the club. Miss Harper was accorded musical hon'ours.
