Rahui Ladies' Hockey Club's Annual Meeting
The annual meeting of the Rahui Ladies' Hockey Club, which was held " recently, was well attended, and an enthusiastic tone prevailed throughout the meeting. Mr. A. F. Brown occupied the chair and, following the presentation of the report and balancesheet. officers were elected for the ensuing year as follows: — 'Patron, Mr. J. Mason; president, Mr. A. F. Brown; vice-presidents, Messrs. S. Dawson. G. Mann, G. Walton, W. McBeth, H. Moffatt, J. Eustace, K. Hager, and H. F. Birley; .secretary, Mrs. E. Cootes; treasurer, Mr. F. Rule; delegate to the Hockey Association, Mrs. A. D. Webby; captain, Mrs. R. Nicholls. Playing members of the club will form the committee., Favourable comment was passed on the performance of the team throughout last season and the hope expressed that, with quite a few additional members to call on this year, the prospects continued to look good. It was reported that players had been practising for some time, and were very keen and enthusiastic. , A trophy is to be awarded for the keenest and most improved player during the season.
