Flying Circus Thrills. Last weekend the Kiwi Flying Circus thrilled the crowds at Wanganui. with their flying stunts and ;parachute jumping. Evidently jthese stunt pi.ots believe in the old | moito of the "shcw must carry on." iRecently the circus had the misforj tune of having r rather a serious • mishap, which wrote off an air- ; craft and put one of the members ,in the hospital. Undaunted, they jhave carried on the itinerary and have advised that they will defin- ! itely be appearing at the carnival next Saturday at the Palmerston North aerodrome. Bounty For Rabbits' Tails, | Ratobits are gaining a stronger foothold in Taranaki and encroaching more and more on dairying pastures, it was stated at a, meeting of the Taranaki County Councii this week. The council , agreed that the Egmont County Council's action in offering a bounty of threepence a tail on rabbits was a sto,p jn the right direction and promised full support to any combined campaign to check the rnenace. The Egmont Council reported the bounty had been paid ; on 511 tails in three months' trial 1 of the systeih. )
