Reeeived Tuesday, 9.30 a.m. RANGOON, April 4. Government troops who captured Mandalay have advanced 40 miles to the north-east and are today converging on the Karen rebels inside the army centr.e of Maymo, An offieial spokesman stated that Government troops had reoeeupied. Tongyi, the insurgent stronghold three miles north of Maymo, whieh is expected to fall "any day." At Insein, a Karen-held town 13 miles north of Rangoon, 200 rebels have i surrendered.
