Motor-cyclist Dies After Collision
GISBORNE, March 31. Injuries received ,when he crashed into the tray of a stationary truck yesterday afternoon resulted in> the death of a young motorcyclist ini hqsRital last night. He was Noel Davidi Hair, aged 17, qf Waihirere. Hair was temporarily employed on his father's farm, The mQtqr-cycljst, with a spade —rappecl1 to the machin'e, was riding to Gisborne and struck tne tray, near the rear right hand corner, of a anail truck which a few minutes earlier had stopped on the side of t-he road to redistribute its load. The rider suffered severe head injuries and died1 in hospital without regaining consciousness,
