Order Of Boot For "Peace" Propagandists

Received Wednesday, 8.50 p.m, WASHINGTON, March 29, In Notes to the Russian, Czeehoslo vakian, Polish and Yugoslav embassies today the United States Government issued a sharp reminder that the offi cials of those Governments who attended the "Peace Conference" in New York last week would be overstaying the period for which they were admitted to the United States if they continued to attend other eonferences here. Mr. Michael McDermott, State Department spokesman, . explaining the Note said the Governments concerned had applied for visas for officials to attend the conference in New York and had not asked that the officials be per mittea to engage in any other activity. It was announeed i'n Now York today that the Russian delegation and possibly the delegates of other countries will begin a nationwide tour to obtain the signatures of "millions of Amerieans" to a "rollcall for peace." Following the State Department Note the Attorney-General (Mr. Tom Clark) notified the immigration officials in New York to see that the delegates leave the United States as soon as they can make the neeessary arrangements. A Justice Department spokesmar. said: "The immigration officials in New York will notify these people that this visa did not permit them to extend their World Peace Conference, They will have to leave this .country as soon as'possible."
