Labour Party Holds Annual Meeting
The Otaki branch of the New Zealand Labour Party held its annual general meeting recently, when the vice-president, Mr. T. L. IjCondon, presided over a good attendance of members. The secretary, Mrs. I. Cross, presented the report and balance sheet, which showed the branch to be in a good financial position. Officers for tne coming year were elected as follows: — President: Mr. T. L. Condon; vice-president: Mr. H. Fell; secretary and treasurer: Mrs. I. Cross. An executive committee was appointed, forowing which matters of a routine nature were dealt with. It was reported to the meeting that guest speakers would be visiting Otaki to attend a Labour Party meeting in the near future. Arrangements for this meeting were •fuliy discussed, the date of whicn will be advised in due course.
