Woman Spy's Death Followed By Murder Charge
Received Wednesday, 9.35 a.m. LONDON, March 29. A man and a woman appeared before French, Belgian and Italian judges in Tangier today. charged with the murder of the "Mystery Women" of Europe and the Middle East, Countess Marguerite D'Andurain. The man, a German, and the woman, a Swiss, who were caretakers aboard the yacht of the 56-year-old countess, are al'eged to have murdered her and thrown her body into the sea. The countess, who worked for the French intelligence in the Middle East, was herself twice accused of murder. It has been said that she was also a British spy.
