Watersiders' Decision On Sharkey
Received Fridayj 11,10 p.ni. SYDNEY, March 25. Sydney waterside workers at two meetings today over.W'helmingly" defeated a motion of protest against the prosecutiou of the Communist Party secretary, L. L. Sharkey. The watersiders and seamen throughout Australia, however, have been directed by tlieir executives to cease work at 10 a.m. on Monday when Sharkey will appear at Court chafged with a seditious utterance in stating that Australian Co'mmunists Would welcome Soviet forces in Australia under , ?orl;ftm circyimstancos. |
