Secret service men and police liad to drive a wedge through reporters, photographers and cheering crswda jgfct Mr. Churchill from ihe train when he arrived in Washington for a brief visit today. There was no repetition of yesterday's "Go back home" demonstration in New York. Instead eager citizens greeted him j and cheered um from the train to the waiting British Embassy car. Mr. Churchill and party drove to the British Embassy, where a reeeption was arranged so the Ameriean Cabinet, military chiefs and Congressional leaders could meei Vlr. Churchill and his wife.
