National Party Meeting Otaki members of the National Party are ho.ding their annual general meeting tomorrow evening and -some interest is being shown in the evenfc. For the convenience of Otaki Beach residents a special bus will be available. Harvest Thanksgiving Services The preacher at All Samts ; Anglican Church, Otaki, on Sunday' evening will be the Rev. G. B. Stote-Blandy, of Levin. Harvest thanksgiving services are being held on that day. Fruit and vegetables offered are despatched to Wellington orphanages, and this year tins of foodstuffs, to be sent to England, are being received. Meeting Of Interest A meeting that should arouse a good deal of interest locally is to be held tonight, when it is hoped to form a branch of the Touring Club. The meeting is sponsored by the Otaki Athletic and Cycling Club, and speakers from Wellington will outline the advantages to be gained. Preliminary discussions» held a few weeks ago showed executive members to be greatly interested in the project, and a good attendance is expected.
