Rain Spoils Scores At Levin Club's Meeting The annual open championship meeting of tne Levin Defence Rxfle CiUb was held on Saturday. The weather durihg ihe - morning was ideal, SUt neavy showers which fell - throughout the aftemoon upset a number of pronjising s&ores. Possi&les Were scored at §00 yards by L. Anyan (Levin) and R. •F. Wakefield (Ashhurst) and at 600 yards by R. L. Monk (Hautere) . Jim Bishop, who learnt to shoot on the Levin range and is now a member of the Old Navals Club, won the handsoitte Championship •Cup. The A grade aggregate -.was Won by R. Barrow (Cheltenham) and the' C grade by F. Bryant (Petone) . Competitors were present from the following elubs: Alfredton, Apiti, Ashhurst, Cheltenham, Featherston, Petone, Linton, R.N.Z.A.F., Onslow, Reikorangi, Gld Navals, Upper Hutt, Hautere, Turakina an'd Wanganui.
