Driving wind and rain drenehed team after team of marching girls as they §tepped out from the stand at Athletie Park on Saturday until finally the conditions forced ihe judges to deelare the New Zealand marching championships eaneelled. The -leaders of the teams voted that the show must go on at 2.15 p.m., and although the competition continued for two hours no points were announced. The judges later declared the championships to be "no competition."
