Strapge insects have invaded homes in Napier. They are black ■millipedes, a hard-backed pest 'which looks like a thin worm with tiny legs. They are usually about an inch long. Although they have not caused damage, they crawl up walls and fall into food. Nothing is iknown of their . history,, origin or. habits.
