MEETING AT MOUTOA

/ ■■ The members of the Moutoa branch of the Woaneii's Division journeyed; to Mangaore for their March meeting. It was a fine day' and most of the • afternoon was spent in the ' delightful grounds surrounding the soeial hall, where competitions iwem held. Winners were Mrs. T^ Fuller'and! Mrs. S. W. Barber. Arrangements were made for a party of 20 members to make a trip to Wellington. A bedjaeket, donated by Mrs. A. Jagger for! a competition to augment . branch fund's, was received. Afterhoon tea was servedi in the hall by the •hostesses, Mesdames McErlean, J. Newth and W. L. Carter. The results of the competitions were: — Best bloom: Mrs. . Noel Jennings 1, Mesdames J. D. Campbell and W. L. Carter (equal) 2. Decorstted 11b. jam jar: Miss McDonald andl Mrs. S. W. Carter (equal) 1, Mrs. G. Wilson 2.
