There was a good gathering of inemibers at the March meeting of the Shannon Women's Division of Federated1 Farmers, which was presided over by Mrs. K. Mitchell, the president, who extended a welcome to Mrs. I. V. Gadsby, a new member who has recently joined the division. Charter presented a balance sheef' of the recent dahha show^ which disclosed a satisfactory credit balance. Half the'prOceedss'have ibeen credited to the parcels ; for Britain account. The convenot of the show, Mrs. K. Mitchell, thanked all the helpers for their assiStance and Mrs: E. H. Barber in turn expressed1 the members' thanks to Mrs. Mitchell for all she had done. As a nonworker, Mrs. S. H. Roberts thanked Mrs. Mitchell and the secretary, Mrs. R. H. Charter, and: her assistant, Mrs. K." Thomson, for their work. Aitogether it was a successful show.
