Communications from the Crown represenitative of the Land Saies Committee regarding the sectioris ofie-red for sale at Tasman Beach, and from the Minister of Works in referenc-e to the limited access motorway were considered in committee. With regard to the latter, it was stated by the Mayor that three routes had be-en suggesLed and the council had made a cie.cision in f avour of the one - 'it ^ deemed most suitable. . The Horowhenua County Council advised that councillors for the Otaki Riding and the engineer had : been asked' -to give consideration : uo completing Rangiuru Road formation.
