P.N. Lady Bowlers Visit Levin
Five rinks from Palmerston North ladies' bowling clubs, two from Terrace End and three from Hokowhitu, recently visited the local club. chell, Gardner (s) 11, lost to Mesdames Kilsby, Gillies, Aitken, Smith (s) 21; Mesdames Rolfe, Shell, McKinstry, Stevens (s) 17, lost to Mesdames Denson, Hughes, Woodroffe, Woskett( s) 21. Points: Palmerston North 94, Levin 93. The week's Lett Brooches pairs matches resulted in a win for Mesdames Rolfe and Shell (s) . Mrs. Routley successfu'ly defended a singles chalienge -from Mrs. Rolfe for the Maple Leaf Brooch. On Saturday the club entertained members from Central club and other visitors at friendly games. The Levin club wiP visit Foxton nn March 22 and Seatoun on March 24.
