Escape Bid Fails
Received Wednesday, 10.1-5 a.m. PARIS, March 15. Political and common law prisoners worked diligently for three months with knives and forks -to scoop out a 70 yard tunnel from Beau Regarde gaol. Wardens found out about the escape plan at the last minute and arrest&d each as he emerged to "freedom."
