Air Lift Pilots Never Fail To Get Through

Received Wednesday, 10.15 a.m. LONDON, March 15. Members of the House of Commons cheered when the Minister for Air, Mr. Arthur Henderson, told them that there had not been a single day since the Berlin air lift began on June 28, 1948, on which the" airmen had failed to get supplies through to Berlin. He added that plans for maintaining and developing the air lift on a long term basis were being made. "We are determined that the air lift shall be maintained so long as the blockade of Berlin continues." .
