English Cricket Selection Committee Appointed

Received Wednesday, 12 Noon. LONDON, March 15. The test selectors for 1949 were chosen at Lords today. They are: A. J. Holmes (chairman), T. N. Pearce, £. B. Sellers and R. E. S. Wyatt. Only Holmes retains his position compared with last year's committee. The sel'ectors have the task of choosing England's teams to oppose New Zealand this summer, together with the captain who, when appointed, will be co-opted. The committee has been increased by one in order to, watch as many players as possible.
