Received Sunday, 7 p.m. SYDNEY, March 13. By-elections to Ifll two seats in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly took place during the week-end. Labour carried Cobar easily and Mr. E. Weth* erall will take the seat made vacant by the death of Mr. Davidson (Labour) who at the last_elections was returned unopposed. Thp latest figurqs arp: Wetherall'5770, -H. E. Campbell (Country Party) 1934, H. J. McMeekin (Com munist) 957, informal 166. The total number of electors is 12,885. In the Sydney suburban electorate of Concord, Labour is also regarded as a likely winner. Labour won the seat at the last election by .1665 votes. The present count is: B. Mutton (Liberal) 9689, J. P. Moloney (Labour) 8909, hW. Armstrong' (Lang Labour) 2395, informal 378. The majority" of Mra Armstrong Js second preferences is expected to go to Mr. Moloney.
