I Directed by Mitchell Leisen, "Golden Earrings" was adapted from the best-selling novel by Yolanda Foldes, which tells the daring love story of a seductive gypsy and an attractive man-of-the-world. In the role of a gypsy, Miss Dietrich has an opportunity to do some' singing— gy.psy airs, as well as the title song written oy Victor Young and Jay Livingston pand Ray Evans (who wrote "To Each His Own."
