ATTACK ON CATHOLICS.

Received Sunday, 7 p.m. VATICAN CITY, March 13. Informed Vatican sources said Fathex Jeno Kerkai, organiser of the Catholic agrarian youth in Hungary, has been arrested by the Communist authorities, reports the Assoeiated press. Fathex Kerkai had charge of schools for Catholic youth which were closed recently by the Government. He then continued his mission of education among tne farmers. Roman Catholic priests in the diocese of Brno are to be purged of "antistate elements" by the clerical action committee, according to the Brno newspaper Nova Politika which adds: "The action committee decided to carry out immediately a purge of all priests who wanted to overturn the people 's democratic republic." This is the first sucli action to be reported in Czechosiovakia.
