The seeds will be sent t>y air in the near future on behalf of the people of Auckland who ' have been invited to contribute to the consigiiments. y The gift was officially accepted oh behalf of the Greek Governmeht, by the Consul Generai for Greecb, Mr, M. E. Vrisakis, -whose headquarters are in Sydney aud who is at present visiting Auckland. He said the c'oiiricil's offer was greatly appreciated hecause it was felt that where there was solidarity and kindness there was security.
