King's Operation in a Few Days

LONDON, March 10. The King, following the announcement of his impending operation, spent a quiet day at Buckingnam Palace yesterday. He remained at the Palace throughout the day, work'ing at his desk and rece'iving visitors. There has been no offlcial announcement so far about the date of the operation but according to the Daily Telegraph, "it will xake plac'e within the next few days and will be performed in the Palace. No further bulletin abont the King is expected until after the operation.
