Ladies' Bowling Notes

The Manawatu Women's Bowling Club held an afternoon on its green at Palmerston North recently. The Levin ladies' club was represented by Mesdames Rolfe, Renkin, Cormack, Lacey, Sharp, Lester, Wickens and Williams. On Saturday 12 players from Takaro and eight from Manawatu ladies' clubs visited Levin. At both these fixtures rinks were ma'de up

,'of players from the various clubs land some very keen games resultied. In a chaUenge match for the Maple Leaf Brooch, Mrs. Routiey beat Mrs. Rolfe by six points. The Lett Brooehes pairs games on Tuesday were won by Mesdames Andrews and Stevens (s). On Wednesday, March 23, the i Levin club will entertain players jfrom Vogelmorn and Island Bay clubs.
