Complaint About Wandering Stock At Manakau
He had been ~ appealing to the Horowhenua County Council to do sometning"" abou& wandering stock in Manakau township for two and i half years and nothing had been done, complained a resident of Manakau, Mr. W. G. Phillips, Junr., m a letter received at yesterday's meeting of the council. Recently he had written complaining about the matter and nad received a reply stating -that it aad been referred to the ranger. Stock was still allowed to roam, nowever, and he considered it time serious action was taken as the stock was causing a pubhe nuisance. If action was not taken, it would mean more expense for the wnter and other residents in fence . repairs. It was decided to reply that the matter was receiving attention,
