Jockey Appeals And Has Suspension Increased

AUCKLAND, March 8. The appeal of Jockey K. L. Colleti to the Auckland district committee against suspeusiou for six months irnposed upon him by the judicial committee of the Te Aroha Jockey Club for his riding of Bright Fox' in the Ruakaka Ilurdles on Februarv 26, was heard today and dismissed. The district committee increased the penalty from six months' suspension to disgualification for a year. Follett now has the right of appeal to the New Zealand Racing Cortferenc.e, appeals to which are heard by three judges appoixited by the president.
