Personal Messrs. Davies, Senr. and Junr., of Island Bay, were weekend visitors >to Otaki. Mr. J. Kelliher, of Titahi Bay, was renewing acquaintances in Otaki at tne weekend. Mrs. J. D. Cooksley, of Main Street, has returned from a six weeks' noliday. Mrs. G. McGill, of Island Bay, has again taken up residence in Otaki with her sister, Mrs. H. Nicolson. The death occurred on Saturday of Mr. Jack Moore, of Kilbirnie, brother of Mesdames M. Richards and E. Fox, of Otaki. Mrs. M. A. Bowey, of Aotaki Street, leaves for a fortnight's visit to Auckland today. She wili make the trip by plane. Misses V. Henderson and J. Wilson, of Gore, are visiting Otaki, the .guests of Mrs. J. Kendrick, Iti Street. Mrs.' Pretty, nee Miss Maggie Fox, of Otaki Railway, who has been resident in Japan for the past two years, with her husban'd and small family, has now taken up residence in Australia.
