AUCKLAND, March 7. A decision to advise the Auckland Drivers' Union that unless its boycott of certain firms was cancelled within 24 hours from 8 o'cloek tomorrow morning, the Auckland Master Carriers' Association would give one week 's notice of teraiination of employment to all drivers employed by its members, was reaclied by the Master Carriers' Association tonight. The president, Mr. H. 0. England, said his organisation had reached the decision unanimously at a general meeting. Members represented 56 firms employing about 800 drivers. "The members in general were opposed to taking action against individual members of t.he union," Mr. England said. "They considered that the union as a whole must be responsible for the imposition of the boycott which had resulted in the master carriers' present action." Mr. England added that the drivers eoncerned in the master carriers' decision were engaged in wharf eartage, cartage of building materifils, general cartage and fuel distribution.
