Declarations By Communists In Six More Conntries

Received' Mopday, 10.35 a.m. LONDON, March 0. The UQmmiimst leaders in. six more countries have deciared that the Communists would' fight for a Soviet victory in the event of war. The countries are Finland, BeF giurn, Austria, Jsrael, Cupa and Argentine, The secretary of the Finnish Communist Party, Mr. Vihe Pessi, said that the Finnish Parcy's position towards m aggressor against Russia was "the same as that of the Communists of other countries." Mr. Pessi added: "It is the duty of all Communists and other supporters of peace to rout an aggressor." The Relgian Communist Party's central committee passed a resomt.ion deciaring that the party would not take part in an aggressiye war against Russia, and' describjng as "absurd" the theory that the Soviet would begin a war of aggression. The chairman of the Austrian Communist Party, Mr. Johann Hopienig, said the Austrian people would not stand "being cannon fodder for the Anglo-Amencan warmongers against the Soviet." The Communist Parties in Cuba and Argentine issued statements warning of the danger of a. third world war. Tne Argentina Communist Party said it would do ■ everything in its power to ensure a Soviet victory in the event of war. FoJowing the line of its European and American colleagues, the Israeli Communist Party leader, Mr. Meir Willner, deciared that nobody in Israel would raise a hand against the Red Army if and when the world was plunged into war again.
